Libya was the Coalition's first big test - and they failed it

Libya was the Coalition's first big test - and they failed it - mirror.co.uk: "How right he was! And now we see what happens when you put boys in men’s jobs. A Tory-led government of bumbling amateurs, in total confusion, life-and-death danger facing Britons caught up the Libyan revolt.

Our people risked Colonel Gaddafi’s armed thugs in the streets of Tripoli or camped under siege in the desert, while Dodgy Dave Cameron toured the Middle East – not to bring peace but to sell arms.

His teenage deputy Nick Clegg simply forgot he was in charge.

He looks as if he’s having a nervous breakdown. The Government is certainly having a collective nervous breakdown.

Foreign Secretary William Hague, supposedly the one experienced hand in the Cabinet, told the world that Mad Dog Gaddafi had run away to Venezuela – while he was running up an umbrella in front of TV cameras in Tripoli.

Days after the rest of European governments got their people out, Vague Hague bleated “Yes, we have had a problem.” Too right, Houston. The only no-fly zone he could organise was in Gatwick."
